When you sign up for the Regina Whisky Society’s annual membership, you’ll receive a personalized membership card identifying you as an official member and the year you enrolled. Your membership card grants you special access to group buys, club events, and discounts at our club sponsored stores/restaurants. Most importantly, this also includes a discount on all club tastings.

THE MEMBERSHIP IS DONE IN A TWO STEP PROCESS:

• E transfer your membership fee of $120 to reginawhisky@gmail.com
• Once received you’ll receive a welcome email with further information and an invite to our private Facebook event group. **(See note Below)** Once you are in the group, you’ll be able to reserve a spot for the events you’d like to attend. You will receive a package in the mail with your membership card, RWS Glencairn glass and RWS pin.  Your membership card is valid for 1 year.

**We recognize that not everyone is using social media. We have a document that can be emailed to you at your request. You will then receive club updates by email**

Note:  If this is a surprise gift for someone, please notify the RWS by replying to the welcome email.

Memberships are non refundable and non transferable. 

Membership can be revoked without refund by the RWS for any unbecoming behavior during an event.  These are classy drinks for classy people and we hope to responsibly enjoy these events with you for years to come.  Always plan a safe ride home! 

EVENT INFORMATION

Events will be offered monthly and members are encouraged to sign up for a minimum of 4 events throughout the year.  We’re hoping to have you as an active part of our community! The maximum number of events that a member can sign up for is 12 but availability is based on a first come first serve basis.  If you do register for all events, keep in mind that all members are guaranteed admission to 4 events so you may not get all 12.   There are only 40 spots per event. 

10 tastings per year will be our standard tastings (expected cost of $60 – $110 each). They will be the second Thursday of every month and ½ oz of 8 different whiskies will be offered.  Due to the requirements of the venues, some tastings will have a fantastic meal included in the pricing.

2 tastings per year will be our premium events (expected cost of $140 – $170 each).  These will be the second Friday in September and March.  These will be our showcase events with 6 – 8 higher end whiskies.  We will serve an ounce of each of these rare and highly sought after marvels.  A meal will be included with the event and will be specially crafted to compliment the whiskies.  If there is significant demand for the premium events, we will increase ticket availability.  If you register for an event and cannot make it, you will receive a credit of 75% of the cost of the event to go towards next year’s membership/tasting events.  That ticket will then become available to other members to purchase at the regular member price.  If the ticket isn’t purchased by a member of the Regina Whisky Society then the ticket will become available to the public for the non-member price.
